FAQ
Service Area Lighting Questions
What areas does Christmas Decor by Kaylor serve?
Christmas Decor by Kaylor serves Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Kern and Madera Counties from its Porterville headquarters. The seven core cities are Porterville, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Fresno, Clovis and Bakersfield, and more than 100 surrounding towns are listed by county on this page. Call 800-791-3330 to confirm service at your address.
Do you install Christmas lights in Madera County?
Yes. Madera County towns including Madera, Chowchilla, Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Bass Lake and North Fork are on our service list, although Madera County has no dedicated city page. Mountain addresses can affect scheduling, so call 800-791-3330 with your address before requesting a consultation.
Do you take projects outside the Central Valley?
Larger commercial and event projects are considered on the Central Coast, including Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. Residential seasonal lighting is focused on our five Central Valley counties, where crews can return for in-season maintenance and January–February takedown.
What lighting services do you offer across Central California?
We install residential and commercial Christmas lighting and decor, municipal and public-space displays, OMNI and PermaLites 365 permanent lighting, Twinkly Pro programmable displays, wedding and event lighting, bistro and patio lighting, and landscape lighting. Every service is available in every city we serve, from Fresno and Clovis to Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Porterville and Bakersfield.
When do holiday lights go up and come down?
Installs start in September, and large commercial projects can start earlier. Takedown runs January through February, or on a custom schedule if you want your display up longer. Booking early secures the install date you want, since the calendar fills as the holidays get closer.
How do you attach lights without damaging my roof?
We use plastic clips made for the roof type, including shingle-tab clips and clips for tile, parapets and metal roofs. Nothing is nailed, stapled or screwed into your roof or fascia, and the clips come off cleanly at takedown. Attachment is planned at the consultation for your home's roof and trim.
Do you work with cities, HOAs and public spaces?
Yes. Our holiday clients include the Cities of Porterville and Lindsay, and we light HOA entrances, parks, downtown streetscapes, medical campuses and other public spaces. We provide certificates of insurance, schedule installs around public use and after hours when needed, and service displays through the season.
How much does professional Christmas lighting cost?
Residential packages typically start around $1,800 per season, and permanent OMNI roofline systems run from about $3,700 for a 100-foot roofline up to about $16,500 for a full-home wrap. Commercial and municipal programs are priced by scope after a site review. Every seasonal package includes design, supplied lights and decor, install, service, takedown and storage.
