Christmas Decor by Kaylor in the News
TV stations, our hometown paper and national trade magazines have covered our family and crews since 2005. Some stories are about lighting. The ones closest to our hearts are about our neighbors: a Christmas tribute for the family of a fallen Fresno pilot, Frost Fest at the Porterville Fairgrounds, and a prom night for students with special needs.

Frost Fest and Central Valley Today
CBS47 and KSEE24's Central Valley Today featured LC Kaylor three times in 2021. In January he talked about bringing lighting into outdoor living spaces year-round, and in November the show featured LC and our designers in a segment about leaving Christmas decorating to the pros.
In December the show covered the inaugural Frost Fest at the Porterville Fairgrounds, a Christmas lights festival LC organized that ran from December 17 to January 1. He said it was "an attempt to bring joy and cheer back to the holidays," because local kids did not have much to do and the pandemic had made that worse. The festival was built for all ages, with a Snow Zone, a community stage, photos with Santa and a Christmas tree decorating contest.

Honoring a Fallen Fresno Pilot
In December 2018 a veteran support group nominated the parents of Seth "Jethro" Nehring, a 144th Fighter Wing pilot killed in an F-15 crash during a training exercise that October, to have their Fresno home decorated in his honor.
LC Kaylor and a small crew drove from Porterville to install red, white and blue lights, garland, ribbons, American flags and trees. CBS47/KSEE24, FOX26 KMPH and The Fresno Bee all covered the tribute. As LC put it, the goal was "to give honor to those who gave a lot."
