What Does a Commercial Christmas Lighting Program Include?

Roofline, facade and parking-lot lighting

Commercial-grade LED on rooflines, parapets, columns and lot trees, installed from lifts where the height calls for it. Layouts are planned for how the property reads from the street and the drive aisle.

Lobby trees, garland and wreaths

Interior trees, atrium greenery, wreaths and lit garland styled to your colors. A large tree arrives as hundreds of parts and can take a full production day to build and decorate.

Large-format decor and photo spots

Dimensional and fiberglass pieces, oversized ornaments and interactive photo areas from the Designer, Fotodiastasi and fiberglass catalogs. Custom pieces can carry overseas lead times.

Twinkly Pro mapped displays

As an authorized Twinkly Pro dealer, we map and program individually controlled LEDs for movement, color and scheduled effects on trees, tunnels and feature walls.

Power planning and electrical coordination

We check circuits, outlet locations and event loads before install, because shared circuits and vendor equipment are a common cause of December outages. New circuits are coordinated with an electrician.

Multi-site and phased programs

One design standard and one schedule for several buildings, branches or campuses, with phased installs so each location goes live on its own date.

Commercial Holiday Lighting for Cities, Hospitals, Casinos and HOAs

A city has to keep sidewalks and travel lanes open, and street-tree work runs around traffic and downtown events. A hospital has ambulance bays, patient entrances and infection-control expectations for anything brought indoors. A casino runs around the clock and puts every vendor through onboarding, including background checks, badges, escorts and certificates of insurance, before a crew can start.

Our client list covers that range: the City of Porterville, the City of Lindsay, Downtown Visalia, Adventist Health, Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, ARC Properties, Bonadelle Neighborhoods, Bynum Inc., Osborn Law, Fig Garden Financial Center and the Visalia Convention Center. The first season with any property takes the most planning; after that, measurements, power notes and decor are already on file.

  • Cities and downtowns: street trees, civic buildings, parade routes

  • Healthcare: entries, lobbies and facades seen from the road

  • Casinos and resorts: vendor onboarding and work windows set by security

  • Retail, offices and HOAs: storefronts, monument signs, common areas

When Should a Business Book Commercial Christmas Lights?

Plan to finalize the design by about September 1. Many organizations set holiday budgets in late summer or early fall, but custom and oversized decor can involve overseas lead times, and a large tree can fill much of a tractor-trailer before it is assembled on site. Crews then need time to stage materials and book lifts around your operating hours.

We also build in a buffer of a few days to a week between a finished install and activation, so testing, adjustments and a rainy week do not threaten a lighting ceremony or grand opening. If you are reading this after September 1, call anyway. What can still be scheduled depends on the crew calendar and on decor already in stock.

  • Decision target: about September 1

  • Custom decor can carry overseas lead times

  • A few days to a week of buffer before activation

  • Takedown, inspection and storage in January or February

Where We Install Commercial Holiday Decor in Central California

Seven core valley cities

Crews based in Porterville serve Porterville, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Fresno, Clovis and Bakersfield as the primary service area, most of them linked by Highway 99.

Five counties

Commercial work reaches across Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Kern and Madera counties, from foothill towns like Springville and Oakhurst to valley business districts.

Extended Central Coast service

Qualifying commercial projects in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande and Atascadero are reviewed case by case, since they sit outside our home market.

Valley winter conditions

Installs often happen in warm fall weather and takedown in January or February rain and tule fog. Outdoor-rated connections and GFCI-protected outlets keep a wet week from becoming a dark week.

How it works

How a Commercial Christmas Lighting Program Runs

01

Site review and design

We walk the property, map power and access, note sightlines and design around your brand, hours and budget.

02

Proposal and scheduling

You receive an itemized proposal and an install window planned around operating hours, events and vendor requirements.

03

Installation and seasonal support

Crews install, test before activation and handle repairs through the season so your staff never touches the display.

04

Removal and storage

In January or February we take everything down, inspect and repair it, catalog it and store it for next season's install.

Pricing

How Much Does Commercial Christmas Lighting Cost?

Seasonal commercial programs are priced by scope after a site review, not by a flat rate. Permanent systems such as PermaLites 365 or OMNI RGB are priced separately, from measured footage, controller count and mounting conditions.

Footage and height

Linear feet of roofline and the height of the work set crew hours and whether lifts are needed.

Tree count and size

A large commercial tree ships as hundreds of parts and can take a full production day to assemble and decorate.

Custom and specialty decor

Oversized or custom pieces may need overseas lead time, which affects cost and how early you must decide.

Power and electrical

Distance to outlets, shared circuits and event loads can call for dedicated runs coordinated with an electrician.

Access and site rules

After-hours install windows, vendor badging, escorts and certificates of insurance add planning time at hospitals, casinos and public sites.

Number of locations

Multi-site programs are scheduled together, which keeps crews and equipment moving efficiently between properties.

FAQ

Commercial Holiday Lighting & Decor: Common Questions

How far ahead should a business plan commercial Christmas lighting?

Aim to approve the design by about September 1. Custom and oversized decor can involve overseas lead times, large trees need staging and a full production day each to build, and lift schedules fill early. Planning in summer also lines up with organizations that set holiday budgets in late summer or early fall.

Do we have to buy, store or maintain the decorations?

No. Christmas Decor by Kaylor supplies commercial-grade lighting and decor, maintains it through the season, takes it down in January or February and stores it at our facility. You are paying for a finished, serviced display each year, not buying inventory your staff has to count, repair and find room for.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our vendor file?

Yes. Christmas Decor by Kaylor is licensed and insured, and we provide certificates of insurance for commercial vendor files, along with background checks, badges and escorts where a site requires them. Share requirements such as additional-insured wording during the site review so paperwork clears before the first install day.

Can commercial installs happen after hours or overnight?

Yes. We can schedule installs after hours, before opening or after close, so lift work and decorating stay out of the way of customers and staff. Casinos and hospitals usually set work windows through security or facilities. The schedule, lift placement and any lane or parking closures are confirmed in the proposal.

Do you work with cities and municipalities?

Yes. Municipal and public-space decor is part of our commercial work, and the City of Porterville, the City of Lindsay and Downtown Visalia are among our clients. Public projects add steps such as sidewalk and traffic planning, so city staff should bring us in early in the budget cycle.

Can one plan cover several of our locations?

Yes. Multi-site and phased installs are a standard part of our commercial work. One design standard can carry across branches, offices or campuses, with each location scheduled for its own install and activation date and serviced through the season by the same team.

Which areas do you serve for commercial holiday lighting?

Our primary area is Porterville, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Fresno, Clovis and Bakersfield, plus towns across Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Kern and Madera counties. Extended Central Coast service, including San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, is available for qualifying commercial projects reviewed case by case.

Can commercial holiday lighting stay up year-round?

Permanent systems can. PermaLites 365 and OMNI RGB stay on the building and can run warm white every night, holiday colors in December and team or promotional colors the rest of the year. They are priced from measured footage and mounting conditions after a site review, and OMNI carries a 15-year product warranty.
